		<description><![CDATA[Basically, what the WPP article is saying is that, now that the &#039;shinny new toy&#039; phase is over, for digital to represent more than  20% of the total advertising budget, it needs to be accountable and generate sales rather than be evaluated on (in many cases bogus) proxy metrics. The Digital industry was unbelievably successful in selling itself with all these issues.  That WPP realizes that it needs to clean up its act to go to the next step in no way means that the industry agrees and is ready to follow.  My position is that the industry will not move and advertisers will have to force agencies to act as agents   rather than drunken sailors.]]></description>
